It came as a surprise
trying to do right
living a Christain life
but end up being shunned.

Divorced and raising her
son in Christian school
both in church every
Sunday and Wednesday.

Sixteen years of sitting
with the old hens
while the married couples
kept tightly grouped together

Never was Sandra asked out
for even a cup of coffee
with a single male
eligible parishioner.

Horray for internet and AOL
many interesting Christain men
very willing to buy a lady
flowers and a dining experience

After three pleasant years
the "one" appearied
now married and
very happy together

But Church has taken
an unplanned turn
none of the married couples
will associate in any way

Neither will the group
of single divorced women
it' something about the "sin"
of two divorced people marrying
