Raise your glasses, Have a toast with pals, let's celebrate with drinks; gyrate to banjo strings, as the music plays. This is your day; celebrate with loved ones, celebrate with well-wishers, celebrate with mates... Drown your sorrows dancing, cover your discomfort, hide your pains, let not your face mirror burdens of old Today, your parachute of joy has landed... Let us celebrate. (c)~Emeka Chike Nwogu~2005

Whatever the season, there's a reason! Counting one's blessings is as good a reason as any! It doesn't take much to get me on my feet or raising a glass or two, that's for sure. And why not?! I love the sheer and unadulterated exhuberance of this, Emeka, notwithstanding the layers of perhaps sadness underneath. Laugh with those who laugh and weep with those who mourn. "Let not your face mirror burdens of old" - very lovely thoughts. Also, the parachute of joy brings it all home! Cheers! LOL Kate xx
