Blessing

She stands arms raisted


Her naked skin blue in the moonlight


She glows like an angel,


The curves of her body


Incite the breeze to flow


Around her and through her


She speaks to no one


And to The Ones.


Her words falling out


But connected with golden thread


To her heart.


And, as the candles around her burn down


Her glow brightens


As the stardust


Blesses its child.

Nice other worldly feel to this one Carrie and good "moon" images. The cadences of your words serve this free verse (I should say "stressed syllable line" but that's just getting too technical) style well and suggest variations of tome and pace that make it a pleasure to read.
