This poem tells us to be who we are inside of our souls.

This Person Hidden Inside Of Me
by Barbara Lynn Terry

Tomorrow is another day
or so they all say
things will pick up on the morrow
so there is no need to feel sorrow
deep down inside your soul
for tomorrow you can be whole
and walk straight and bold
even though others may scold
you for just being who you are
so in your journey you can go far
if only you put it in your mind
that you are not one of a kind
that there are others like you
that need to be seen too
so this is who I have to be
this person hidden inside of me.

It seems we are too busy trying to be what others want...than to let our lights shine.
Be yourself, be kind and compassionate and the rest will follow.
Sunshine to you, CarolHawks

Sometimes is hard to be yourself I know,
Barbara. Sometimes we spend alt of our lifetime seeking
Something or some one that's already there
But we are to busy to notice!!
Barbara take care, just take it one day at the time!!

Barbie:

You are most genuine when you write and I feel your pain every time. Sometimes we spend our whole lifetime seeking love, and time was wasted while seeking and not found.

Other times the problems is also within us too - that we are so pre-occupied in seeking too long for the love that never was meant for us that we have forgotten we are so deserving to live, love, and laugh and just being ourselves, to enjoy the life that we really deserve.

We love you, Barbie!!!

Thoughtfully written, and wisely considered. The person inside of you can become the wings of your goals and ambitions to carry you to the heights of what you want to be or do.

It's hard to be yourself sometimes when you don't know exactly WHO you are. Most people are other people, said Mr. Oscar Wilde. It's not so common to meet someone who's absolutely themselves. We borrow a little here, and a little there. We're full of enthusiasms that give us some sort of identity, and then there's the malicious types who think they know you, but they haven't a clue....

It's human to doubt, so keep on looking, Barbara! the person in the mirror changes every day.
