Poem Artwork

There are happenings in life
some high some low
at other times its issues of mortality
which cause introspection
begging the question
Who am I

From birth experiences begin to define you
by your actions or reactions.
Soon a template is formed
One we convince ourselves is truth,
where patterns become the map
of all future endeavors.

The mirror then reveals what has been laid out
You willing accept the illusion staring back at you.
until the inner voice contradicts the reflection
searching for the real answer

Some die without ever knowing.
A few however,
whether it be through occurrence
or by contact of another find the truth of self.
It is when the We becomes the One
The world becomes a disinherited collage of images
eliminating all influences of past design.

Your answer is then found in this simple statement
I,
Created from division
am You
and for You

However if occurrence causes you to lose this
Your answer is
I am Nothing

Reading into the influences of my own recent write,"Shakespearean Sound", I sit here knowing we both are not far off!
Just different ways of getting there, trying to know who we are...
Excellent~

Dear Ed,

Where the "I" gives way to the "We" is the point when we truly become One. Thank You for helping us to be aware of what it is to "die without ever knowing".

Love & Light always and in all ways,
Joseph*

Very inspiring and thought provoking piece connecting to the true self finding the way home within one's self, I should say philosophical.

In depth and deliverance ....
