Aren't those Zebras absolutley Beautiful. The poem is so wonderful and warm. Although you just had to put the lion in there didn't ya?? but... The ending is absolutely divine as is the whole poem. "Keeps us coming back!" Truthful beautiful and I Love it!

Exactly and you have caught it perfectly within this write.
Don't laugh, but I saw these beautiful animals and the first think in my head was Radio City Music Hall and the Rockettes. The second thing was the Skydiving Elvises (or Elvi for plural). The drama of life and death is an amazing dance, isn't it.
You have captured life and death on the Serengeti vividly and perfectly. I have always wanted to go to Africa, and you've taken me there with your beautiful words...bless you, this is going into my library to enjoy again and again. BRAVA!
