Contribution
to discovery of
what might one's
Truth be, temporal
gestation severed with
ease, (no longer being
aborted)
spatial peace, the
quill has a mind of its own,
the poetess follows,

"You have found your Truth"...

Inspiration,
the feather floats
ether, papyrus to you,
Truth is an electronic diary
on this night, there's always
curiosity exposing naked skin,
contribution to discovery of what
one's Truth might be, it has softened
your heart of all the episodes in which
you played a part,

"Your naked skin upon mine"...

Women who
own property in
their own name, the
sexual power they hold,
the intention wrapped up
in a blanket, it carries the scent
of wild mint, peering up at the sky in
spatial peace, with tendencies that couple
with women who we recognize as one of our own...

"You have so much sexual power, I weep"...

this is one of the best-a new favorite as it speaks of the power of us-women and in finding self!

Awesome. Reminds me of a struggle I once went through and did find the truth about me. You gave it voice. Thank you. Liz

Womanly prowess is deeper
penetrating embodiment's canvas
scarves lusting & lover's veils
through touch of serching eyes
reaching inside another sought
seeking...knowing
offering torches light
essence of femininity
showing desires caress
tenderness & bonds strengths
holding hearts sensual towers

John summed this one up, Sage / Still, the so-called battle of the sexes rages on, although somewhat muted these days / It is a natural occurrence / Although we are of the same species (I wonder about that sometimes Haha!) we are as different as say, male and female . . .

As you write your words capture the minds and attention of many and make them think...which is what good writers should do...

Sage,
This is glorious! It would've been easy to resort to a 'battle of the sexes' piece, overdone and trite, but you are much nobler than that and you raise the spirit of humankind not just womanhood, here and now and forever. This is thoughtful, rich writing.

John

Look Away Silence by Edward Patterson

Martin Powers wanted an ironing board for Christmas. Instead, he got . . . Matthew Kieler, a non-returnable gift, but a gift that kept on giving. A powerful tale of survival, compassion and unapologetic love in the time of AIDS.
