Gripping and compelling. This has a sci fi and Gothic mix with emotional stirrings. An engaging, masterful write!

Our shadow knows even more about us than we will admit to ourselves. It holds our secrets and follows completely our life's pathway. Thankfully, my shadow does not speak for there is much in my lifetime that I have conveniently forgotten and actions that I would not wish for many to know of. You toss out lots for us to chew upon with this intriguing write, Debs.
Take care,
Sherry

This gives me the feel of not knowing our own parameters, Debs... or, at least, shadows knowing more about us than we do ourselves and shelter our modesty! A leafy write, and love these lines: "Creases on forehead trace the length of sadness." I like this sketch of the psyche done in tones of light and dark, exposed and shade. TY Kate xx
