Remembering promises never come true ,
I sit here alone, wishing for you.
Time so unkind, and life so unfair,
The tears in my eyes make vision unclear.
Where am I going? Why am I here?
What am I thinking? Why do I fear?
Lies so common inside my mind,
Time never changes this desire of mine.
I'd said that I'd never trust you again,
I'd not be foolish, and I didn't need friends.
I'm alone now, and happy it seems,
Unhindered by masks, which lie easily.
Look into my eyes, my feelings you'll see,
And love me...maybe.
But I'll never know,
Because they'll never show
The secrets this mask hides.
