I was inspired to write this by the cross that appeared on my cypress tree during Lent of 2010 I took it as a sign of the redeeming grace of Christ on the enduring pain I sufer
There is a cross on my tree
That is meant just for me
It is a sign of contridiction
There should be no addictions
To the things of this world
They must all be hurled away
As in a hurricane
Oh Yes, there is pain
The cross is hard to bear
And with the pain comes tears
For the loss of things dear
Those that were so loved
Now I must go peaceful as a dove
Into the great beyond
All must be left behind
Those who have gone before
Hold out their arms to greet me
I am now in Heaven dear ones
God paid the price for me

'Don't forget whose taking you home
And in whose arms you going to be'
For He's the great lover
He died for you and me
To die for another
Is the greatest of love
So the cross is love
The cross is peace
The cross is joy
For it brings us to Eternal Life

God bless you, Marguerite.. He has His eye on you, your name is written in the palm of His hand, and you are ever in my heart and prayers, blessed and beloved lady.
There is no mystery on this journey to hell. You are witness to the crimes dealing out the death sentences... each justified by one of the seven deadly sins.
