September eleventh; One person comes to mind
I knew her not, but surely she was one of a kind
I close my eyes and her smiling face I always see
A remarkable beautiful lady she had to be.
Her opinion, she was not afraid to speak
And truly lots of folks her comments did seek.
To those who disagreed, she would just smile.
All considered her words well worth while.
Those of us who saw her only on TV
Grew to love and admire her very much.
Her inner beauty and charm you had to see
Even when she disagreed with O'Reilly!
I'm sure she did her very best on that awful day
And to the hijackers, some choice words to say.
To be courageous and comfort others, too.
Barbara would feel that was the right thing to do.
We will never forget her poise and charm
Often we ask, "Why did they cause her harm?"
Her words of wisdom were spoken with care
And fond memories of her we will always share.
An outstanding composition in honor of a true American.

This is so beautiful, your accounting of Barbara's courage, a tribute so befitting such a special person. I had never met the wonderful lady. And tributes such as this touch my heart. I plauque in her honor was posted on my web site, at the time I had not known the real stories of those plaques I had placed, an angel of a person spent, days, producing beautiful individual memory plauque's to honor each and every lost life. She allowed those of us with web sites dedicated to the memories of the people touched by that day to post these plaques on our pages in hopes of such lasting tributes. Barbar's was one of the plaques I had recieved. .. I pray each day those touched will find life again, a sun shinning again one day..And that we never forget to remember them.
