an observation on life


It moves with grace on summer winds
And clings to winter skies of grey.
Is carried on streams turbulent waves
And colors spring with joyous hue

It’s seasoning flavors mundane meals
And haunts us with sweet memories
It’s in a newborns plaintiff cry
And in a grandma’s gentle touch.

In all the world it can be found
In places often unexpected
But my dear the place that’s best
Is in your eyes and in your kiss.
