Today is another day that I am lost

Today is another day that I am lost
Lost in a relationship warped by Crack
Lost in the fog that makes one we love
Run from love into the arms of destruction

I am nearly done living in the fog
Nearly done being lied to and forgotten
Forgotten while he pursues the crack high
Forgotten to his other love

He loves it more you know
Oh he says different, but his actions tell more
He takes the money for bills and life
And smokes the fog of death

And leaves his love lost in it's wake

Actions speak louder than words, don't they, Sandi. As you know, you need to move on. You cannot change someone, you cannot live their lives for them. You can only live your own life, and change yourself. Peace. Joyce

This is a sad situation. It is heart-wrenching and helpless to watch our loved ones being self-destructive. A well-expressed piece!
