Wins some, lose some
Days are dark or bright
Never static is this life
Filled with joy and strife.

A balance must be found
To make this world’s level found
Some bad, some good some in-between
That’s how it goes it seems

I grasp the fun and find some clay
Within my fingertips
I reach for moonbeams silver shards
And find the suns hot rays

How is it all is mixed and blended
Combined all the black and white?
When all I wanted was the light
And found both life and death

Ok, ok I guess I must continue on this caper
To find that light that makes me whole
And scrub away the dirty soot
That clings to every lighted taper
