Living in the classroom of life:

Is all life and it’s lessons a test?
A test of wills and emotions
Foisted onto the mind and body?
Each day the rules are applied
Like thick plaster
Forcing the will and mind
Into an inflexible mold
With emotions screaming inside
Who’s lesson plan
Are we living within?
Why are the tests so damn hard?
I feel trapped inside this mold
Trapped by the boundaries
Applied by invisible teachers.
Like a hand that strangles
The life from a slim neck,
These rules tighten on my life
I feel the very breath
Of my free creation
Slowly dying

I want this class to end!
