I have opened more word documents today
than
ever
what is my problem
they’re all lined up across the bottom
there
like little losers that they are
this is number 5
and this is probably doomed as well
no
writey today
no words want to play today
what is my problem
normally
can’t keep these fingers still
normally
eager am I to see that clean fresh page
but today I see
“invading my life like a cancer
eating my soul”
what kinda crap is that?
not even worth repeating
knock knock any friggin poet home
doesn’t look like any ones here
so
I’m
resting
who knows when I’ll be back
besides I read something on the site today
that was a little too close to home base
and
I gotta take a break
r and r for ms Josie
and besides
all the Introducing the paid members home page
is buggin
cept that cool dude who put in a pic of some cigs
ha
if I ever become a paid member and you see
a smiling josie I want you all to laugh out loud
cause
that’ll be the day
HA
bye

the poet in me
is
dead
gone south
on vacay
dormant
fallow
closed for the duration
hasta luega

shoulda canned this one too

LoL, Adam said it well. Well, Josephine, don't give up hope. The best rememdy for me for writer's block is this: Two dictionaries, memories, dreams, and love. Think of a story you know from childhood or adulthood and twist it to YOUR favourite type of ending... voila! ;)

Happy New Year!!
