WOW, josie, glad you're okay...please take a breath, don't wanna have to call 9-11. :0 living in california, you expect the earth to rock and roll, don't expect 'em other places...in 1980, i was in a 5.1--IN OHIO, of all places...i was sittin' at work, after a particularly bad afternoon, takin' a break, sittin' in the s.w. corner of this restaurant, and the wall behind me started movin' in and out. i'd had my feet on a chair...put my feet on the floor, the floor's movin' back and forth. *oh crud--methinks i've worked one too many shift, or else i'm goin' nuckin' futs.* didn't think much about it...thought it was trucks goin' by on the highway! later on, called mom...she asked if i'd felt that earthquake we'd had. i remember exactly what i said..."EARTHQUAKES??? ma...ohio don't HAVE earthquakes." oh, yes we diiiiid...that's the weirdest feeling in the world. the ground ain't supposed to be movin' like that...'course, i'd much rather be in a quake than in another tornado...been in three of those bad boys...lost my roof in the last one...you can have 'em. gimme an earthquake any day! unless i'm on a bridge...heeellllppppp...((((HUGS)))) and breathe in, breathe out...breathe in, breathe out...love, karla. :)

yo glad you are okay, but PLEASE start breathing, or they're gonna' have to send the paramedics after you and have 'em revive you one! good, intense write! i have been in an earthquake once..in OHIO; it was 5.1, and i DEFINITELY felt the sucker! it was back in 1980, and i will NEVER, EVER forget it! i hope NEVER to be in another earthquake! it scared the CRAP outta' me!
