whatever...for LaBelle

I have been on this site for
almost what two years now
round about
have posted 209 with this 210 pieces of work
have collected about 20493 page hits
who's counting
have thought now and again
to
give it up
why
why keep on coming on back
who's out there reading this hogwash
who cares what one little voice has to say
who
and so I decide
enough, forget it
and then I crank up the ole compaq
the familiar whir resonates through the office
I check out the junk email
the grow penis shit, the viagra bull, the meet teen garbage
deleting without opening that's my motto
kinda take a look at headline news
laugh at michael jacksons nose
or throw some hate vibes at saddam
and
then
I am quickly bored
and just like that I find myself
typing
authorsden.com
and I'm in
and I am never disappointed
there is always something, someone that amazes me
with the Word game
someone who says something just right
who coins a phrase I like
who
inspires me to open Word
and see what I can do my own self
for what
for whom
for me I guess
for the me inside that says
let me at it, let me mess around here and see
if I can make you see what I see
lets play around here with some
words
and so it goes
and so I stay
can't keep away
really
l like the way at this site
you get to right off
get comments
right off
get feedback/reaction/stroking
I know all about the you pat mine I'll pat yours game
don't mind that either
so
what are friends for
and beings that most commenters are writers
well that's just a little bit of icing to chew on
but
I really hate when someone I really like says
no more
I'm out of here
it's been nice it's been fun
but I am done
and trust me
in all this time I've seen em come and I've seen em go
life
fragile at best
finnicky at least
still don't like it
but I know how it is, I understand
shoot
I Think it all the time
I just can't help myself is all
I just can't make myself
stop
when someone leaves us a dear john like I just read today
I wana scream at them
whatever
don't you know we care
don't you know
now
there's gona be a hole
dammit to hell anyway
and I know your supposed to send em off with kisses and hugs
and "we'll see you in the funny papers" type stuff
and I know your supposed to XOXO and ((((HUGS))))) and all that
I mean for crying out loud these people are family in here
they have helped you through some major shit
read you
laughed with you
cried with you
made your day somehow cyberly a little better
and all I can come up with is
"whatever"
selfish little wench that I am
whatever
so be it
I am selfish
damn it I hate when one of the cool ones bows out
just
hate
it
whatever

bye LaBelle........ whatever

Oh Josie,
I do too it is sad to loose someone you have grown with and all the above as you mentioned.
I will miss her too so much.
She is a bit of the title around her on the den as allof us and it hurts when you have to do pain jobs where someone is loved so much and gone.
Love ya sister
not a wrench just a very good girlfriend

... dont most of them come crawling back, or at least leave a trail of syllables through the woods of dispair to the next sugar coated cottage? i love the lift of being read, but i think my time would be better spent perusing writers market for potential publishers. maybe those who leave have managed to break the addiction. :) more power to them, but i need my fix!

hate it when good writers move on..don't you ever leave ad; i have come to enjoy your rants and other ramblings; and you are among the cream of the crop when it comes to ranters! :) i am indeed blessed; if it were not for god, i wouldn't have ever started writing, and i wouldn't have ever met you through authorsden! so i owe him all the praise and glory! love, and (((HUGS))), your friend, karen lynn in texas. :) ~rant on, baby gurl!~

WOW, josie, you really rant well...i hate it when the cool ones bow out, too...don't you ever leave, i have to read you! you're one of the best ranters out there, and one of the best poets i've had the pleasure of meeting through authors den. i count you as a friend, and i am blessed. (((HUGS))) and love, karla. :)
