from way back we're talking twenty nine years, written by a thirteen year old me. my first attempt at lyrics, i even plucked out the melody on my guitar.
joan baez folksey stuff, hey don't knock it, it was the era. now This one is copywrited anyone try and steal this one i kicka your ass ha

theres a feeling
inside of me
that I just found out was there
a special feeling you planted
and raised
and nursed
with care
when I found this feeling
ooooh what a fool I’ve been
hurting you without knowing
now I want
to
try again

and
don’t think of going
please stay with me
cause
I’ve learned my lesson
and oh how good I’m gonna be

I’ve been so selfish
cruel in things I’ve done
and
I’d like to start all over
pretend
we’ve just begun
I know that we can’t do that
whatever is done is through
but I
can ask for one more chance
to show
my
love to you

so
don’t think of going
please stay with me
cause I’ve learned my lesson
and oh how good I’m gonna be

I said
don’t think of going
please
stay with me
cause I’ve learned my lesson
and
oh
how good
I’m gonna be

Josie,
This is great, and I am a Baez fan too! My mother listened to "Diamonds and Rust" over, and over again.

Hugs,
Maria
