Oh I've seen that on TV. first of all, they are rough with shoving that tube in and out, looks like they are separating your skin from the rest of you.

Yikes! Lipo? Hell, no! Love this piece, the way you bring Life to everything you touch, Josie!! I am in the second week of Atkins, and really missing my potatos and bread! I want to be healthier, for myself, my husband and my kids, I'm not getting any younger... Btw, I, like you, have the gut, my best friend here where I live, the butt!! ;)

(((((josie))))) i *so* identify with this...one of my neighbors is very heavy (over 300 pounds...way over), and she wants to have surgery to lose the weight...i've known too many people have dire complications...some even DIED...after this surgery...another way to make larger women feel inferior, they promise a quick fix up...yeah, money into their f*ing pocket, and the patient...oh, well, sorry, they died...or suffer needless pain...because of trying to conform to society's image of what a woman is *supposed* to look like...another neighbor had a face lift, 52 years old...did it help her?? no, she died...massive overwhelming infection...it didn't help her look any better...geez, josie, you ripped out my heart with this...the price of beauty MAKES us bitch! :) i love you, girl, just as you are...my friend, my rant partner, my favorite poet!! :) i'll join ya in bitching 'bout men HA my ex...don't get me started on HIM. LOL ((((((HUGS)))))) and love, karla. how was the poetry reading? did you go? let me know...i'm all ears...LOL

funny rant; personally, i think liposuction is too risky and unnecessary. there are better ways to lose weight, and i think you are fine just the way you are! you are a beautiful woman, and anyone who tells you are too fat can just screw it! there is too much emphasis on body image as it is, especially for woman, and i don't know why woman can't be happy with what god gave them. so you may be a bit fat. big deal. i am fat, too, but do you hear me whining about it? NO! i am happy with me, and that is all that matters! :) (((HUGS)))
