Fresh Rosemary tea , lavender with a herb bath
~~~~~Awaits the lovers later~~~~
Softly hidden smiles
Trees slightly in juniper breeze
His hands carried one single Red Rose
as he climbed each small wooden step, to the
house
He is brushing back his gray hair
and his black tux ,Gray temples show a
bit
he had pressed for today
It still fits, I will hold her close tonight
It was there day, they met this special day
It was Valentines Day
My girl, she carried his heart in
seventh grade
She gave me a cherished heart cut, out
of paper, she glues there names on it
She is cleaning, the counter smiling
She is fixing dinner
Tonight we will have meat loaf, she says to herself
Will he remember? She is thinking .
His favorite , she laughs, mine to
He giggles, He sees her threw the open window
She is still the same
She is little older , but he sees her as the first day
Last week his best friend passed , he
wanted each day special for Kay
He opened the door , she called out his name
Hi Ben is that you honey?
He said" yes darling It's me!"
She takes off her blue apron
Her dress is red satin, her prom dress
He takes off his coat, she smiled" you have your Tux"
He turns on the radio, and she runs to
his arms smiling , as a young school girl
He brushes her gray temple
He kisses her little nose
They both giggle
There is magic love, he smiles at her
All they see is each other
As he dances around the corner
She sees the red rose
You remembered darling
He answered , "I love you ,as I did the day I met you
You are my love, she laid her head down
on his shoulder, she laughed softly
They danced in there living room
He smiled and said "Kay did you feed the cat
She patted him and said" yes"
lets dance in the moonlight"
He took her small hands in his , kissed them both
The moonlight sparkled
They both gazed at each other holding
hands "
"I love you, Kay to the moon and back
She replied" Ditto"
She handed the heart she makes each year
This one was out of brown paper with
rolled hearts , it opened with sparkles
made his heart smile
They danced till morning
On the stars the letters , appeared in the skies
Slumber I shall till next we meet, my love
Each smile we exchanged opened another time
His face with mine , memories
To journey with such a love is mirrored , timeless love
His hand in mine dancing across the
universe, like ivory piano keys
We held our breathe, each apart of the others heart
Whispers like napkin laced with adorn kisses
Forever Kay and Ben..Forever in love
