Such wonderful things I never knew I had.
Chomping and grinding
On succulent cuts of meat
And rending corn cobs
To tasty juices.
Floss only involved candy.
Apple pies mere victims
To my everlasting tastes.
The occasional filling
Was always the popcorn kernel’s fault.
I have new friends now.
Soups and slow cooked stews.
I’m lucky I always liked Sago
Porridge is an old friend
Newly re-united.
Pease porridge indeed
As I carefully empty my mouth
And gently cosset my new friends
In their watery bath.
My teeth.

Oh my....thank God I still have all 32 perle white tucked safely in a row in my old mouth. .... not sure I could ever manage those glass fillers in my mouth...good luck!!
