It was so beautiful and alive!! God;s creatures and His skies,
it filled, my heart with gratitude,
and was a major, feast,
for my ears and my eyes.

Poem Artwork

AHHHH!!, The, wonderment, of it all.
Love, overwhelms, the soul.
To float around on ethers,

and never hit the ground.

The kid's keep ya, busy,
there's havoc, all around.

But, laughter, rules,

joy, overcomes, any feelings,
of nervousness.

It takes a couple a days,
to get back in the
LOOP!

With kid's hollerin, or sleepin,
buzzin, to and fro.
Eaten grilled cheese sandwiches,
with Cambell's, tomato,
soup.

Woke up last night, the, stars,
seemed, just outa touch.
I'm really liken, bein, and sleepin,
on, the top,
Likin it, a whole bunch,
likin it, very, much.!!

Then when, I woke this mornin,
The darnedest, thing did see.

The sand chair that I put on shore,

a place to sit up high!
Was filled, they were all over it,
A, herd of butterfies.

They seem to like the color,
Dave, thinks they're drawn ,
to our salty sweat.

But they're followin me everywhere,
sure makin, me feel, blessed.

We're in a cove, the Tanagers, always,
come back to.
There bright yellow bodies, red heads,
and black and white,
wings.

Are beauty in motion, and Oh,
can they,
sing.

It, captures your ear,
then resonates, to your, heart.

A lilting catchy,
tune

Somewhere, between a nightingale,
and the haunting,

song, of the,
loon .

The ospreys hunt,
If, I could only, catch,
fish, like they ,
do.
I'd win every fishin contest,
hands down,
and ,all the prizes,
too!!

The eagles soar, they're still the best,
to ,yours truly. So majestic, and grand.

The symbol, of our nation,
for freedom and honor,

they, rightfully, stand.

Then the sun, starts to go down,
the colors are so,

sublime.

NATURE is in, His, pure Grace,
and none of it, costs, anything,
not even, a, measly, little,

dime!!!

Magnificent write! God's creation truly is wondrous indeed. I too find rest and a healing balm in the creation of it all. And like you said, it doesn't cost a dime, only to have eyes opened wide to see the goodness in the Lord. There is rest and peace in your words and most of all praise unto His name. God bless you Art!
