Dedicated to Reverend Daniel Henderson, a Son of Thunder

In Daniel's Eyes

I knew him, erelong we ever met
For it was written on the wind:
The LORD God had spoken, "Behold, Child!
I will send you Eight Great Men."

They appeared as "Sons of Thunder!"
And I was mesmerized:'
Though three were missing from the stage,
They lived...in Daniel's eyes!

I could see Joseph, pleading at Golgotha,
I could see David, with his stone and sling,
I could see Moses, standing in the courtyard;
The Ancient of Days, in these three Great Men!

Then, I saw tens of thousands of others, plodding,
Slaving beneath a bitter, iron yoke of lies,
And I experienced all their pain and suffering,
As I searched the umber depths ...of Daniel's eyes.

"Oh LORD!" my anguished heart cried out,
As though none before had ever recognized
The love, the strength, and conviction
The Truth!...profoundly engraved...in Daniel's eyes.

*The honorable Reverend Daniel Henderson is an awesome, holy man - and Brother in Christ, whom my whole family dearly loves.  He is also the leader of a group of Great Men, who sing like the Angels, and who are known as "The Sons of Thunder"!  We love all these men, as well.  Prayerfully, you will get to listen to them sing - at least once in your life...then you will never be the same ...either.
