Why did you not answer my prayers Dear Lord?
Why did you not give it to me?
Why were you not true to your word?
You said, “What you ask, I will give to thee.”
I only wanted the faith of a mustard seed.
I wanted to move that mountain aside.
I asked for no more than the faith I need
To move the mountain so high and wide.
You have chosen to withhold my faith, Dear Lord
I only asked you why this is so.
But, then you answered, “I was true to my word.
The mustard seed is planted and ready to grow.
You must remember My Son that a mustard seed,
Will not grow into an oak tree or a pine.
You will always receive whatever you need
So, ease your troubled mind.
That mountain was meant to stand proudly there,
So proud and long and tall.
It serves to protect you from the winds that trouble the air
It stands like a protecting wall.
And it’s there especially for you to climb
From atop you will see the beauty of winter, spring, summer and fall.
And grow closer and closer to me all the time.
So I ask you,” he said as I stood there before him.
“Do you really want it moved away?
Would you not rather pray for strength to climb to its rim?
And see all its glory and commune with me
Where the view is so wonderfully great to see?”
