The Little Children

Take heart little children for you sins are forgiven in Christ’s holy name

And now, little children, abide in him you will never feel shame.

My Little children let us not love in word or tongue but in truth and deed.

Let us be there for our brother when he is in great need.

Jesus spoke unto the crowd about the children he held dear

He told them that if they abide in him the Kingdom of God is near.

Except ye be as children he said, ye shall not enter Heavens gate

Lay your sins upon his shoulder before it is too late

Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, he said

Will never die but have eternal life instead

And who whoever shall receive one such little child in my name

Receives me also, to wash away his sin and shame

So come to Christ in gracious and grateful love

Knowing that the joy you have comes from God Above

And never forget that Jesus said these words to you and me

If you believe as a little child Heavens Gates are just beyond the sea.
