After sixty-some years of living I have come to a maddening decision

Though I tried to live my life in complete control and to provision

There were days that started out to be seemingly blissful placing me on cloud nine

By the end of that same day I found it to be anything but flawless and fine

But a day full of aggravation after aggravation leaving me in total exasperation

Those were days when nothing went according to plans but rather in their own misdirection

I would throw up my hands in total disgust and displeasure

On a scale of one to ten on those days minus four would be their measure

Thank God those days are relieved with days of fulfillment

When plans are successful and I felt a great deal of content

Looking back on my life I must admit I am comforted by Gods word

In particular, “All things work for the good of those who love the Lord”
