She felt alone, befuddled and disoriented
To say the least she felt baffled and frightened
Her confusion came from she knew not where
Her feeling of solitude lead her to believe there was no one to care
The reason she felt this way was beyond her to imagine
Though she looked for looked for it she could not ascertain an explanation
She had fallen into a state of serious depression and anxiety
Each day for now seemed like a lake of misery and melancholy
She was fighting a fight of self dejection and hopelessness
Oh, for how she longed when her days were filled with joy and happiness
This gloominess can come out of disappointment or deception
It can also come for no known reason what-so-ever at its inception
Your prayers are urgently needed for God can give her hopefulness
She can than once more enjoy a life of delight and happiness
