I can honestly say that I have never been a man given to materialism; I find no purpose in it. Nor have we ever piled up credit card debt. Very uneven scales there that trap people in a financial hell.
Surrounding us with fancy things, or the newest rage in things, doesn't eliminate my headaches or my occasional bouts with IBS. We are always compassionate with anothers needs - especially our childrens, and we always mull over expenditures for months before we act.
If I can afford it, I give to my neighbors whom I know need it, not often does it happen though...ed

I can readily attest to the fact that credit it not that good a thing . . . Been there . . . done there . . . Recently . . . As far as giving to other? Naw, let 'em do for themselves, I never had a benefactor . . .
