Simply By Being Me

A write with deep healing for me--thank you in advance for reading

The sadness upon leaving you was overwhelming,

But you left me with words I will never forget,

You said with tears in your eyes

To take care of myself ‘cause all you needed from me

Was to know I was here in the world because…

You needed me.

 

Tears welled up from the deepest part of who I am,

And for a very precious moment,

I believed I was important to someone.

Simply by being me.

Your poem reflects so much emotion and strength...it is when we find ourselves within the thoughts of others where we can cherish those emotions of being...even more so when the simplicity of just being is more important than anything of this world...

You are a very important person always. Do remember that. You are simply you and so beautiful a person inside and out. Who could not help but love you and your sister too. Being part of a twin is an exciting thing at least in my sight.

Karen we don't stop to think of those we are important to but we all make a difference or add to someones life in some way. You are very special not just to your birth family but to your Den family who love and enjoy sharing with you. Thank you for sharing you words with us "simply by being you".
