Just so you know what I know: The People's Store was where my Mom bought our clothes when we were kids, because you could buy them "on tick."  How else could she clothe 5 growing youngsters?

Edgie was Edgewook Park, a wonderful amusement park that has been gone for many years now.  They had a skating rink, School of Mines, ferris wheel, merry-go-round, more fun rides and the challenging "Spin The Wheel" to win prizes!  Edgewood Lake was there, too, with boats and fishing.  Sometimes free movies were shown at Edgie, too.

The Little Giant was an intrepreneur (sp?) who had a small game farm with a real, live bear, and showed free movies outdoors.  Going there was a great adventure for us!
