What is love for love

But this, a final plea

To sing the songs that smile on every note

& weep at the crescendo

 Being is too little & too long

To not know the legnth of your arms

Wrapped round tightly defying the world

That rattles windowpanes & wickedly

Forgets us soon after our departure

What good would breath be on my lips

If not for you to take it slowly away

With trembling hot soulful kisses

To live for love & nothing less

Than the taste of sunshine from your lips

Is  warmth on bitter days
