Hazy clouds hung over the city
Creating a cocoon of heaviness
That clung as smoldering steam
Awake in a room with five windows
A breeze, not even a hope
A house with sixty-six windows
And only one wheezy window
Air conditioner
One cool room filled with two brothers
And two other sisters sleeping, innocently
My mind racing with sensual thoughts
Had crowded me out of their presence
Love.
Intense sensations electrified
Coursing through inflamed
Blooded vessels to my core
And back out again
The combination left me in a pool of sweat
As I writhed in the agonizing
Bloom of first arousal
Newfound sexuality, an ache,
Wore on through sleepless hours
Miserable ecstasy slowly ebbed
Into dullness
Into the escape of dreams
