I love the sensations this brings to mind.I can feel the cold ice, gooshy mud, and smell the dogs. :P

Mud never hurt no one?
mess to clean up though..

Ahhh but I can so clearly look back and feel, see and smell that first taste of spring when the sun melts the last of the snow and the mud is just a bonus to a child...or a puppy.
LOL Funny write, but not so funny for the owners who have to clean up the mess (not to mention, put up with wet dog! YUCKO!)! Very well penned; brava, E!

Cute imagery with this poem! Thankfully, my dogs stay out of the mud for the most part. Love and Hugs~
