Your words are beautifully chosen. The emotion is raw and one that everyone can relate to. This is one of the best poems I have ever read.

Touchingly sad write that makes the readers heart ache to reach out with a hug and a loving word of promise or hope for the future. We have all been in this state at some point in our lifes so we know the feeling.

What I love most about your poetry book "Dressed Inside Out" is the depth of emotions in its pages. This poem makes me feel sadness and makes me want to offer a shoulder. I know the words are wonderfully constructed to give the reader the sense of aching within . . . A poem not to be confused with optimism . . . But one which tells, eloquently, of abject failure . . .

This is achingly beautiful as it breathes of the loneliness that I certainly feel sometimes...the yearning that comes from an aching heart.
