Spoken words are not easy to say
This ache in our heart will never go away
It is said, “Sometimes things are supposed to be!”
“It is the outcome we’re not able to see.”

Our tortured soul, our severed heart
Why was our life so ripped apart?
Pleading for someone to explain it all
Why did our God have to make this call?

Our friends and family pray in this time of grief
Hoping the same God will provide quick relief
Though we are told “pain eases with time”
I know it will never end in my lifetime

It’s a grim time we pray to never face
God, help us come thru with your touch of grace
Comfort us in this time we feel so alone
Refresh our memories of our loved-one now gone

My plea to you; enjoy time with your children every day
Provide one for another without worry of repay
Pleasant moments we share, help us heal
Her undying love to cherish and forever feel

Regrets remind of a chance not taken
Forgiveness allows our heart to awaken
Evil plays tricks and calls us a fool
Tho’ we’ll do our best to face “Death” so cruel

Now place your heart in the maker’s hand
For each is destined a precise plan
With grace to pass each test we take
Let our heart-spread love, Hope is at stake
