There are winds which carry secrets of the mystery passed before the eyes of the world, your thoughts enshrine the Destiny of one who touched more than life...she literally engulfed us and became the very image of who we wish to be...
Your last lines "shiver me timbers". Shakespear said (and I'll misspell it for sure) "The proud man's contumely" --so apt. So wrong! On another note, there was a death in my family about the time of Princess Di's passing. I always thought he went up with good company--and the whole world was in sorrow, because as you may recall, Mother Theresa died about the same time. In a way it brought me comfort--was good to know that I wasn't the only one going through so much sorrow--kept things in perspective. All suffer. --Charlie
