I Remember, Do You?

Amos, sitting at the head of the class;  soon I can expect a wad of paper which is being passed.

Why was he saying such pretty things to me, after all I was not the prettiest lass.  I enjoyed making the other girls curious.  Amos was not good looking but smart and I would always pass in math.

Oh,  the note:

Roses are red, violets are blue.

Sugar is sweet so are you.

Ah how I remember well my flirtatious nature shining at its best in school. I was always well-behaved though. Thanks for stirring the memories, Louisa. Love and best wishes,

Regis

Nothing quite like puppy love! I remember my first...it was ironic, we actually looked a lot alike! Both short and chubby, both black hair, and dark eyes, both had an oriental look about us! Both in the first grade. Oh, I had it bad and he moved away before third grade began...I was so sad! But to my surprise about ten years ago, a handsome and yet familiar man stopped me outside of K-Mart and ask me if my name was Joyce, I replied it was and he asked me if I recognized him..it was my first grade love...Timmy! He recognized me after not seeing me since second grade! I was flattered, we had a wonderful reunion in the parking lot! I've not seen him since!
Enjoyed this write and the trip down memory lane!
Blessings,
Joyce B.
