Unanswered Questions Lying awake in the still of the night... doubt clouds my mind. Searching for an answer, Not knowing what I will find. Sadness and pain flood my soul, Unanswered qustions... the emptiness, no one will know. reflecting on yesterdays... dreading tomorrows... How, when, and why me? If only wings as an eagle... how I would flee... The secret...I bury it deep within, evil thoughts I lay aside. Determination to win the battle... a battle I must win. for my children...I will survive. For a love that was once so vibrantly alive... how did part of it die? it wasn't by choice... no not I. The years have passed, how quickly they've went. The pain still inhabits me within... sometimes....when I least expect it... the memory will creep in. I try not to dwell on the past... but keep my eyes on God. For this is the only way I know to survive... and keep the remaining love...forever alive.
