This is a magnificent write your imagery is
So vivid I can almost picture this doll that call
Your name it must be beautiful and I wonder what secret
It holds I guess will never know
But I bet you have a truly beautiful collection of dolls

This is very well written and quite intriguing Joyce! I too love to browse through antique shops and collect occupied Japan ceramics and figurines. It's interesting how this little doll reached out to you, the poet, silently calling you to take her home. I certainly would like to know the history behind her too! It sounds like it could be a memorial of some kind. I would love to see a picture of her!

That was so beautiful. I share a love for old things and am a metal detector enthusiast. On trips to Scotland we occasionally run into some very interesting specimens, but dolls are one item that really seem to have unique stories.Great Poem.

Joyce, this is so well-told. I'm deeply moved by this. This is becaused I own some dolls that were given to me by my friends here in the den, that once belong to their parents. They were given to me because they needed a good home and someone who can care for them like their mothers did. I'm sure each one of these dolls have a story to tell. I love them all.

This is lovely, Joyce, and it touched me deeply ... I have the goosebumps to prove it. Your writing always seems to do that -- you bring out joy and wonder, just like in this poem.
