Joyce, when my mother was in a nursing home, an organization made tiny wooden crosses and gave them to each person in the home. Your story of finding one at your feet in the park makes me think how wonderful it is to think that some sweet angel of hope dropped that there just for your hands. What a lovely gift to receive--even if it was a dream.

I am sure that we entertain angels unaware and for varying reasons on the part of the visiting angel.
For me personally, knowing that I have encountered one is usually evidenced by my walking away feeling guilty. This prompts me to examine myself and see where I have been falling short in an area of my life.

... Makes me wonder whether this was, in fact, a daydream or a lucid dream.... I kinda had one of these once, based on an old treasure box hidden in a woodshed... All I knew was that this box both magnetised and haunted me, but my "cure" would lie in the opening of it... Think I have raised the lid just one tiny chink so far!
