I have asked myself that question so many times! Where do the words come from? And have felt grateful for what allows us to express, communicate, help ourselves as well as others. They are a gift and a strength indeed and a beautiful way to share this journey. You are so right.
You speak in words that bring comfort to my heart - for the beauty around me, His love, the kindness of friends and the beauty to write poetry. Thank you. Your heart is big as your the world outside your Kentucky Mountains.
Like a pebble rolling down from one of those mountain tops, we hear your voice as the quill scrapes the paper putting order on the unruly flow of the words cascading from your heart.
And, like a little pebble inside our shoe, you remind us as we alk, that we were with you, many times, in those mountains...

Oh, Joyce, I know exactly how you feel. Thanks for sharing this heartfelt piece that captures exactly the inner workings of the creative mind, the flow of energy and spirit through us, and the journey that we travel.
