Inspired by a short verse about the pheonix I wrote this short verse myself; always wondered whether I should add to it?
“Yet there once was that final faltering breath. A mound of ashes betrayed her passage and announced her death. Millennia memories laid down, not to decay; left undisturbed to dream… and rise another day”

'Left undisturbed to dream… and rise another day'

Inferrence will do the adding, Jeff.
This line brings closure, yet also opens the way for hope...

A millenia of memories only a small pile of ashes high? Poignant thought.
A short but profound verse.
