Pallaavi:
O, Rama, Are you going to shower me with grace,
O, Vishnu, Or are you going to be angry by not showing your face?

AnuPallavi I:
You chased the crow across the three worlds With a blade of grass, (Story of Jayantha as told in the Sundara Kanda)
You saved the Ekadasi Fast from Durvasa with Class. (Story of Ambarisha)

Anu Pallavi II:
With the tip of your feet, you liberated Ahalya. (Rama liberates Ahalya from the curse of Goutama)
With your conch on his cheeck, glory attained Dhruva. (Dhurva's penance and his meeting with Vishnu)

Charanam:
I don't seek the touch of your conch or your feet,
Just a glance from you will not fill me with conceit.
And this your devotee,
who seeks liberty.
