~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

My Dearest First Love,
It has been so many years.
Yet i still think of you
everyday.

Altho' i know that you
are with God up above.
I continue to shed my tears.

For there were words
that i wanted to say.
But before i even had
the chance,
God had already taken
you away.

Never have i been able
to ever love again,
Not in the way that i
have always loved you.

To love another, i would
not know how to begin,
For my love has always
only been with you.

I remember the night
that you suddenly died.
Such a big part of me
died right along with you.

Oceans of tears over
you i have cried.
For you were my first,
last, and only true love.

I lost my true love also, not to death, but to someone else. I think about him every day even though we don't see each other or communicate anymore. It is like being in mourning in so many ways. We both know though we will be together again, if not here somewhere else in another time. You and your love will be reunited again as well!!

Thanks for all of your special hugs too kid, they were greatly needed this week!!

Love ya,

Caryn

I lost my first true love, too, at a very young age. Many years ago, to leukemia.
I know how you feel.
