Looks like the word
Is spread all over town.
Seems that you have made it
So loud and clear...
~*~
The word is that you
No longer want me around,
From a complete stranger
These words I had to hear...
~*~
Tell me why was I the
Last one to know,
That you have deeply fallen
For somebody new?
~*~
Never shall I allow
My feelings to show.
For I will mask my pain
Until I'm finally over you.
~*~
You felt the need
To blow out my flame.
In order for you
To shine a bit brighter...
~*~
But, I will get through
Just the same.
For I will find someone else
To fulfill my hearts desire...

Trixie,
Great write, I know the ways of fire though. If someone tried to blow out your flame, you would feed off of the oxygen to shine even brighter. You are a flame like that on a wax coated wick. You will not be extinquished.
