On a  snowy wintery day you captured my heart,
You embedded your finger prints on my soul,
Took possession of my life.
Many moons passed by
One cold winter night you picked up your boots
Rounded up your possessions and
.....................Broke my heart.

Left me crying salty teardrops,
In the bed we once shared
Now filled with gloom
....................Of solitude.

I lay night after night drowning in a pool of loneliness
With your photograph laying next to me,
Breathing your scent that penetrated my
Pillow dreams
Eons pass when you kissed my salty
Teardrops,

Wrapped my heart with your tender touch kept me warm.
I felt so safe cuddled in your arms
You always kissed my
....................Blues away

Now my pillow is filled with emptiness
Lost in dreams I look for you
I call out your name
I hear your voice can’t see your face my tears
Can’t touch your heart, she’s turned it into

....................Stone.

Lost in dreams I wiped my tears with your old t-shirt
You left behind, you were my breath
You were my life.
In dreams I cry can’t find the light only images
Within the mirror of my mind casting a
Reflection of you, cuddled up keeping her safe
In your embrace while
Kissing her salty teardrops and chasing
....................Her blues away

My eyes behold sweet memories of times far behind
Deep in the corridor of my dreams
My love I gave to you my salty teardrops and within a
Farewell kiss,

As I lay and weep myself to sleep
I dreamt my soul will never be free.
