Poem Artwork

please read my news George Carrol needs prayer!

two stanza's short of a septcouplet ;-)lol

imaginary fusions
casting spells
ephemeral conditions
transient delusions
asleep while awake
in foggy retakes

head in the clouds
wearing a shroud

stalking the shadows
before they get me
seeking dark hues
shunning the light
secluded in night
obscurity a friend

flirting with sham
all is a scam

dusk without end
cavernous kiss
into the abyss
the power cannot
take the place
of face before me

haunting the brain
going insane

bereft of grace
suddenly in the sky
volteic lightning
its fingers saying
i shall die
i use my powers

here the lightning
so frightening

shift-shape to meteoric
now i control the bolts
i await its return
knowing it will strike again
this time the meeting
shall be historic

it is not nice
to fool me twice

You turn the situation around with a vengence. This is good thinking, Eileen. Good plotting.

Dynamically dramatic and hypnotically captivating. Love the way the language storms the senses and the attitude strikes like lightning. Great stuff indeed.

Got to agree with the board here, looks like we got a new septcouplet crew, and your all getting it off to a fine art.

These lines...

"shift-shape to meteoric
now i control the bolts"

...are transformational in that you take electric charge of the situation and turn the tables. I like the power of this write, Eileen.

It's not nice to mess with Mother Nature...or Eileen when she's been wronged. Please: remind me to never make you mad!!

Eileen,

Hey!! Was this written for KARLA?? ANYway, Eileen, this is awfully darn good! You did not do too badly; in fact, I think you did all right for yourself! Give yourself a pat on the back, sistah! I LOVE it! And that pic is too cool! BRAVA!!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :D

Saving this one; this is going into my Eileen pile! LOL (And I have a BUNCH! LOL)
