Poem Artwork

Boil and bubble winds of trouble
Like a war you reduce to rubble
pounding like  a battering ram
acting  like a man bim bam
embracing terrain with full force
earth and sky have intercourse

~~**~~

Rain whispered your name
as the wind carried it aloft
I felt you thunder over me
but your touch was so soft
then your lightning pierced
swift,sure and deliberate
but you were considerate
gentling the excitement
to keep my heart content
I splashed in your puddles
frolicking like a happy child
sticking out my tongue
to taste the raindrops
I told the clouds don't stop
I let your gusts embrace me
with all of their intensity
and as you blustered and blew
I knew, that you were the one
storm I would never forget!

I may have bammed a time or two, but I have never bimmed. Thus far in my life, bimming is still a mystery to me.

I love storms, especially when they're as full of passion as this one you've penned Eileen.

Great metaphorical write that conveys the dual message of an intense storm, and the ways of a caring and loving partner !
You have a knack for beautifully combining the art of nature and passion Eileen !
Super picture conveys the input of the composition

Just like a man to bring out the "just like a woman" in you, Eileen!! ;)) Reminds me of an old Dylan song. And George Clooney in the starring role wouldn't be half bad if this was a movie... yes, who can beat nature in terms of showing us what REAL passion is all about. Wonderful metaphor here. Excellent metaphor Eileen. Yep, some of them are so electrifying and wild we just never forget them. Excellent imagery and graphic. I think this is one storm you might just have to ride out.
Take care,
Sherry

And neither will I, Eileen...neither will I. THANK GOD! :)

This ranks right up there with "We Were Twin Storms"...thunderous passion, illuminating joy in the power of your words...yes. Definately a keeper (thanks). BRAVA!!!!!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

I love the poem, I love that pic.
