sometimes finding one's own way brings pain to others, even if we do not want to cause it, sometimes we do. i hope yours will soon be resolved. the poem says much in a few lines.

I sincerely hope you are well, and find peace of mind Eileen, you can be assured that you are in my prayers !
This doleful write suggests to me strongly there is a certain man in your life who has erred badly in your opinion, and continues to err, not a good circumstance I would say Eileen
Some things are ominous in life, and sometimes we must make the hard but correct decision, to sever our ties with that clueless person, before they fatally damage our own well being and peace of mind !!

"and hope that it can hide from the storm of choice that will decide his voice" He may hope that he can hide, but he can't. I may not be interpreting this poem the way you intended.
